Shirt Series - Mental Health Awareness

Portland Gear asked me to create a shirt collection for Mental Health Awareness Month. I wanted the designs to feel scientific with an emotional, streetwear edge, exploring ideas like The Anatomy of Happiness, The Cycle of Metamorphosis, and The Metaphysical.

The goal was to make vintage-inspired streetwear with positive meaning for teen and young-adult Portlanders: skaters, alt kids, mosh pit regulars, and anyone drawn to rough, expressive design.

I focused on contrast: clean typography with imperfect hand-drawn graphics, scientific structure with emotional messiness. That balance between polished and raw is what gives the collection its energy.
